Several SGR shop fronts, including fireworks shop, chemist, and I think the black history bookshop (others too) have all had some great new makeovers.

    Yes, it's great to see this spreading across more of the shutters. Though the eyes on the Santa on the pharmacy give me nightmares :)

    I spoke with one of the artists today. Apparently its a council funded scheme that pays a small pool of artists. It came out of the lockdown, when a lot of shutters got tagged and it was quite ugly, so this initiative is designed to dissuade the taggers, brighten up the street, and help support some artists. Shop owners are approached, and if they agree then the artists are let loose. I like it.
