Police were called at 10.43pm last night (Thursday 4th) to reports of a stabbing in Albert Road.
Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
A 23-year-old man was found with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police are leading the investigating and a crime scene remains in place.
Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, local policing commander for Haringey, said: “My thoughts are with this young man’s family who will going through the most unimaginably difficult time. We will do all we can to get justice for them.
“A dedicated team of detectives are dealing with a murder investigation and a cordon is in place while forensic examinations are carried out. CCTV and house-to-house enquiries are also under way.
