The Arsenal Shop
  • Walked past earlier and they have run out of the letter "n" for the backs of shirts.

Why could this be - when I thought of the names I most often see on shirts - Fabregas, Walcott, Toure - there's no N in any of them.

    A rush on "Nasri" perhaps?

  • Could be Vito Mannone's year for greatness.
  • Or Sagna, Van Persie, Bendtner, Senderos, Almunia, Denilson, Fabianski.... ummm, can't think of anymore.
  • Surely no-one buys "senderos" on a shirt.

    You forgot Wenger though

  • Zut.

And you're quite right - bless him, I once thought he'd turn out to be brilliant. I do like him though - perhaps because he always looks like he's about to burst into tears whenever he does something crap.
  • Colette, please say 'zut alors'.

Not right after this, but sometime, soon.

  • ...and then put it on youtube
  • Shush now.
  • Senderos is a good guy and does a great job - he's there to remind everyone how great the rest of the players are... Wenger previously used Pascal Cygan and before him Igor Stepanovs for the same purpose. Can't imagine any of those 3 selling many shirts though.
  • All of them have got "N"s in their names though.
  • Maybe they had a big stockpile from when Stepanovs was in the squad.
