  • Oh sorry, and daft question, but having just seen the youtube link (and I recognise at least two of those kids from Crouch Hill Ct) I assume that it's been passed onto the police?
  • I cut through the park every evening. Never seen any problems other than just general loitering, so that does surprise me. But then I don't get the peculiar 'get off my turf' behaviour of young men - not ever having been one. Sounds like he's probab…
  • The Daily Heil is allegedly the second most popular news site in the world. This stops me from clicking when 'x is so fat, so thin, women are shit, asylum seekers, public sector'' headlines attract me.
  • Those of use whose windows have been smashed because of the direction of the crease are less keen on signing. It's not really a big enough space for cricket, unless you can guarantee everyone being rubbish enough to never score a six. Some teams are…
  • Which thursday was next thursday (above?) because it doesn't look like the day after tomorrow passing today. I'll still force myself to try the margaritas when it does open though.
  • Emily - I forgot to take the email address of the woman from IAMS. I can probably get it off their business manager (I am seeing him in an hour) but if not, could send it to my yahoo address - it's the one I mailed the info@ address earlier.
  • I will try to pop in. Will be just after 8 but I live right by the school.
  • Or hear from you here of course - but noticed no ones been on for 5 days!
  • Hi Emily - I can't make the meeting tomorrow but am keen to help (unless unfortunately it's Glastonbury weekend!) Also, I spoke to the manager at The Factory gym and he's really keen for them to do something. Some Zumba dance classes for example. I…
  • Went this evening. Really enjoyed it and no portion size complaints. One of the chaps is amusingly grumpy too. He told a lady off for not knowing what caponata was. The caponata was very nice, too.
  • They do have a website and an email address, btw, just very bizarrely they don't seem to have it on anything. Most odd way to open a restaurant http://seasonkitchen.co.uk/
  • I was told by one of the regulars on Saturday night after he'd been discussing it with the owner. I've actually looked into buying it before, but it just doesn't make that much money, although it was relatively cheap.
  • I keep meaning to come back on and say how much fun choir has been. I've gone the last three wednesdays and had an ace time, except when I got locked in the loo last week! Do come along!
  • Brill. I have been wanting to join a choir for a while, and since you are so kindly rehearsing less than a minute's bike ride from my house, it would be rude of me not to join this one!
  • Hi folks. I shall probably pop along on Weds. I've sung in choirs in the past but am very out of practice, so may just hum quietly at the back!
  • A sainsbury's of that size will be pointless to shop in. It will be like the Tesco at Finsbury Park station, only selling pre-packaged premium price fruit and veg, and a few over priced things, as the small metro sized outlets consciously don't st…

  • DO WE HAVE ANY MUGS???????
  • Jacks for me. Support your independent booze supplier! Jack (or Ravi as he is more accurately known) gets specialist belgian beer in for my other half.

  • I'm nothing if not classy. Also I have a consignment of stolen mobiles I need to offload, and Rowans is centre of the dodgy trading universe, so two birds with one stone and all that.
  • That was a great evening judging by the thickness of my head this morning. Nice to meet everyone, and to find that gingermonkey has actually sat behind me in my office and knows all my colleagues. Scary small world. Now I need to go in search of …
  • Aaah. Myself and Poxy have actually briefly met you (and Plum) in the Noble some time ago.
  • A lost look usually suffices when meeting nutters off the internet, I find. I will probably be with poxy however, who is a tall bald Yorkshireman, and I am shorter and have long blonde hair. I never got an I *heart* N4 bag or t-shirt (boo!) but …
  • Dotori beats the pants of Cats, IMHO.

  • Home gets customers? I would like a mug and a tee please. As long as they aren't silly prices.

  • Thanks for all the info, busby, it's really interesting. As a long term resident, can you keep going until present day please?! I'll keep reading as long as you keep typing. I live at that end of Regina and recognised the roof of the now Dairy bu…
  • I love the guys in Finsbury Cycles. They are really nice, really good, cheap and treat people well. None of this looking down the nose at people like me with our cheapo commuting bikes. Covered in plastic flowers.

  • I really do like SGR. Recent attempts to move house failed (who gets rental gazumped FFS?) but I would really miss it. I'm loving the competition between Chapter One and The Sugar Lounge for that bit of pavement, and I was back late on Saturday and …
  • If the weather is good we will definitely be there with child and even my mother, dragging her from as far away as NW1. I will try to drag Poxy and family also.
  • I saw the sign outside the Dairy. It made me laugh and laugh. I love the fact my local pub is doing a mother and baby club. Even if it is tea and coffee, the fact it it's in the pub is quite funny.
  • The Islington Graffiti Action Van was out this morning on SGR, so hopefully it will start to disappear.
