Hi Luke, I massively overestimated the amount of topsoil I needed and have a ridiculously large container clogging up the front garden. If you'd like to collect a couple of wheelbarrows full from Corbyn St you're very welcome.
It's a headache. I've been doing the same, and freegle is slow and vexatious. Apparently the second hand furniture place at the foot of Crouch Hill may still be doing clearances, though the shop is closed - you could try giving them a ring (I've bee…
There's a planned vigil in Priory Park at 5.00 on Saturday - https://fb.me/e/1aGaBdDMG. Also discussion on the Crouch End Facebook group about a parkland walk march after lockdown, but no dates yet.
@krappyrubsnif I suspect Hora would be outraged, it just struck me as appropriate ... Go for Zargon the Archwizard, definitely. Like the lights - anything to add a little joy to the bleakness of lockdown in winter!

Bad day for tyres. Two flats in Corbyn St today, though mine turned out to be also a nail. I got the AA this time, but the little workshop opposite the Stapleton tavern is generally cheap and helpful.
Ok but does this justify the motorbike maniac who zipped up and down Corbyn St around 4am revving as loudly as he could? (And yes, I'm assuming it was a boy with a toy.) If not, what counter measures arc possible?
Lots of recommendations on the crouch end Facebook page. However the ones working at the moment generally seem to need access to garden without going through house, which is no good in a terrace!
