Woodstock Road Association: Finsbury Park lion memorial
Does anyone know anything about this Association - does it still exist? It was responsible for erecting the memorial statue of the lion in Finsbury Park which was recently smashed. The statue was in memory of (I think) Helena Fedorowicz, who died in (I think) 1993.
It was only a little lion, but it was a handsome and popular landmark in the Park and it would be nice to see it replaced. I'd be happy to contribute if a fund was being set up. Any clues?
