    I'd been wanting to sign up for a while now, but never got round to it for some reason. But I thought I'd do it today as I need some advice re: a local accountant, and look! I don't even need to start a new thread!

    Although it doesn't seem like Beek got a lot of advice....
    I'm a freelancer and need to fill in my Self Assessment form by January for tax year 2007/2008. I'm looking for an accountant that deals with stuff like that, my friend gave me some contacts but they're in some other part of London. So I thought: why don't I make the most of my neighbourhood? Stroud Green offers a lot I'm sure, so why waste a lot of my time travelling elsewhere when I could have something on my doorstep.
    I'm sure I can find one myself if I want, but I just don't want to pull a name out of the yellow pages, I would be very grateful if some professional from the area could give me an indication for a trusted accountancy studio.
