The incident took place on the corner of Hornsey Road and Tollington Road so actually down in Highbury just past the Sobell Centre - and not in the Stroud Green area - but no less appalling for that.

The Standard report says Tollington Way not Tollington Road.
If so, it is further north than you suggest. Certainly nowhere near Highbury.

It was directly opposite the Sobell at the Euro Food & Wine place

The Standard got that one wrong - as you can imagine I got onto the Police very quickly after reading that but they confirmed that it was Tollington Road, not Way, so on the corner near the Sobell and Harvest estate.

Opposite the Sobell for a further confirmation. They were sweeping the street as I drove past earlier - about 10 police officers on their knees as the rain started to come down.
