I can recommend the Larrik although it can take a l-o-n-g time to come. I had a roast there yesterday. The food was really excellent and more than we could finish.

The manager, Jason, tells me the long waiting time is because they cook the chicken from scratch, it's not reheated and definitely not microwaved. Roast beef/lamb is quicker. We had a complicated order (eight people - two whole chickens, a burger, two roast lamb and a veggie roast) and the chef got it all ready to bring out at once, so it took time.

I think they should warn customers. The pub wasn't busy so it seemed surprising. Probably was worth the wait.....chicken really was scrumptious and falling off the bone.
