I've often wondered if hypnotherapy could cure me of my rather extreme vertigo. But then I scrap any plans to visit one as every time Kevin Bacon in [Stir of Echoes](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0164181/) comes to mind. _Some doors weren't meant to be opened,_ as the tagline says. Kevin Bacon. In your head. It's just not good.

@Ben, "It's nothing lurid or exciting"..??!? You have asked to see a hypnotherapist. How much more lurid or exciting does it get?? More details please. If you are giving up smoking though, make something more interesting up. And most importantly, did it work??
