I'd never noticed the gulls until July 7th bombings. Covent Garden was (unsurprisingly) like a ghost town, no people, no traffic. Suddenly I could hear loads of them. I think they just get drowned out with the general city noise. Not that odd to have them though, surely they just follow the river in? There must be a twitcher amongst us to confirm?
Yes there are seagulls in Salt lake City. But I live about three hours away from Salt Lake, but next time I go I will look to see if the monument is there. But Wiki said there was tho.
