Diana and Beckham may be vacuous arses, but so far as I'm aware neither of them managed a single murder, let alone millions. Even Boy George's kidnapping and beating of a rentboy was a pretty poor showing in terms of crimes against humanity.
Killing aggressors in a war of defence is not morally equivalent to killing your own people in pursuit of a deranged ideology (or simple paranoia, in the case of many of Stalin's victims). Same as kidnapping is wrong, but slamming a kidnapper in gaol isn't. It's really very simple.
but yeah, Churchill doesn't count... there was at least some kind of provocation... like the whole invasion thing and killing people because they wouldn't buy his paintings..
