    yup, we're watching it - it's ace (from andy that bit) "I don't have a philosophy of design, that is too small. I have a philosophy of life" We must be proud to just make chairs. Gotta love him.

    Not sure how his constant disdain for what he considers unnecessary products sits with his ornate rocket shaped lemon squeeze.

    I'm liking this program better than The Apprentice. Mainly because the briefs/tasks are like the challenges a real designer would face.

    Although i think the art direction of the whole show is a little contrived - they're trying too hard to be designery, check all the 'walking-fast-towards-camera-then-stopping-as-the-camera-pans-across' type shots.

    The 'look-moody-and-creative-on-the-stairs' also make me cringe.

    Starck is brilliant though - to the point, and it doesn't come across as rude because he's French!
