I did see the original burst. It was a proper little fountain. I thought about posting it, but felt that for the first time I had discovered some piece of local news *too trivial even for this site*. A lorry falling in it took it to a whole new level though.

Talking of burst water mains, would anybody like to guess when the traditional Stroud Green River will reappear on the corner of Morris Place and SGR?

It must be soon, they've taken the ped crossing there out of action in anticipation of finding a new spring hole.
