Crouch End College - anyone been?

edited December 2009 in Local discussion
Just stumbled across links to Crouch End College while looking on Hotcourses.com for something to give my life meaning in 2010...

Looks like they do media courses, and is a pretty small institution. Has anyone on here done any courses there? They seem quite expensive compared to some other evening classes, but the small group size would be a great benefit.

I once spent £200 on a radio journalism course at a very respected college which turned out to be an almost complete waste of money.

I would check out very carefully what they are offering and, crucially, who will do the teaching. If you have a good, experienced tutor with lots of tips and information to offer, you can make full use of their expertise whatever it says on the course prospectus.

Crouch End College does indeed look very small, seems to be aimed mainly at 16-19s and, bizarrely, appears almost completely unknown.

Depending on what you want, you may be better off going to a bigger, more established college like City University, London Met or suchlike.

I wouldn't go there for web design.

I wonder if [Learning Curve Media](http://www.lc-media.org/) are responsible for my all time favourite bit of [animated parsley](http://www.dhoniarestaurant.co.uk/)
