Latest Planning Applications

I'm a tad confused as to why the alert board for latest planning applications on this site's homepage, displays applications which seem to be in Wales; as opposed to "applications made within 5 miles of the junction of the Dairy and the Larrik". Can anyone shed light on this? Or sort it? Happy New Year by the way.

Never saw it fixed since it went wrong; just checked it again a minute ago and we're still in Wales....

OK, its not my fault. [Planning Alerts](http://www.planningalerts.com/apihowto.php) API has run into Royal Mail _(They really shouldn't have copyright on postcode data, action please politicians, its free in the US and most other countries)_ and isn't serving data via API requests at present. If anyone has thoughts about what we can put there instead, feel free to suggest.
