Good for Food

I was in Good for Food at the top of Blackstock Road on Saturday and wanted to say how consistently excellent the food is. Depending how unhealthy my Friday night is, I often go for the health kick and have one of their salads for lunch.

Anyway, anyone who's been knows how good it is...the bit you may not know is that they have had a alcohol licence approved and will be doing some renovations over the next few months and opening up in the evenings too.

I'm not too sure if that will work out, the place is tiny and looks barely big enough to fit a kitchen in and the salads/sandwiches thing only really works during the day. I hope it works for them and will be interested to see what they do with the space.

Fabulous news! We've been huge fans of GFF since they opened... er... can't remember how many years ago. I wrote both of my dissertations in their garden. Helena is lovely, and both the food and the coffee have been consistently good.

Cracking place. Used to have at least one hangover-brunch per weekemd in there when I lived the wrong side of Seven Sisters Rd. I wish they could expand.

Perhaps, but the clientele at Sim Sim is a whole lot creepier. Unless, of course, you enjoyed being stared at by a group of men while sipping your coffee.

I'm usually the only customer in Sim Sim when I call in for my morning coffee. Ergo, that group of men doing the staring must be me.

BTW, I love what you've done to your hair. I love the way it all flops over to one side.
