Who decides which threads make it into the weekly email? There seems to be no rhyme nor reason.

It's a faceless computer programme.
It takes the last five threads to have had comments, I think.
We could make it a face, if you'd prefer.

Exactly when does FCP make this assessment? We could then have meaningful competition to be in one of the last five threads.
