    I can't recall if anyone has mentioned the Edinboro Castle in Camden - I think it has the biggest beer garden in London, and a barbeque always on the go. Great food and ale, shit service.

    Surely the Freemasons Arms in Hampstead has the best beer garden. Agreed - Edinboro has diabolical service, but very handy burger bar in the garden. Also the Victoria, just down the road from the Edinboro has a nice beer garden out back. Good pizzas, too.

    was surprised no one else mentioned the Lanseer great pub friendly staff, good food, benches outside but sometimes too many kids as there's a park/play thing across the way... but if you have kids it is a good place to go for a drink if you have them in tow.

    The Edinboro is not so much a pub in its own right as the 'Indoors* If Wet' facility for Regent's Park picnics.

    *Or At Least Sort Of Undercover.

    Landseer's generally fine, but I had a very weak Roast Chicken there on Sunday...
