How old is the Google satellite picture of SGR?

Haven't used the Google satellite thingy before so had a good look at my road and there is quite a lot not there (big new extension to the school over the road, revamped playground, my shed, etc). So I reckon it's at least 5 years old. Any other guesses? Is there a way we can find out?

    Just noticed that it is copyrighted as 2006, but I'm sure that's not when the image was actually captured.

    If you go south a little bit, you'll see that Highbury is still there and not a single piece of work has been done clearing the site for the Emirates stadium.

    I think the copyright just gets updated, and is no reflection of when it was photographed. Its probably a huge job that they incrementally update around the globe. I'd say New York, LA, San Fran, San Diego are probably most upto date
