Aeroplanes

Has anyone one else noticed more or louder aeroplane traffic early in the mornings?

Yes, and also in the evenings. Sitting outside with friends last night and they all commented on the frequency and loudness of the plane activity. Obviously it's holiday season but nevertheless this year seems full on (and the helicopters of late!)

It could just be that it's summer, and maybe even sunny, and you're outside.

They shift the London flight patterns every now and then, so perhaps they're on top of us at the moment. There's a website that shows maps and circling routes but I can't find it just now.

Found the website I was thinking of - http://lhr.webtrak-lochard.com/template/index.html. Shows each plane flight path on a map, though with delay of couple of days. Does look like as of last Saturday there were plenty planes flying over the area on a loopy path towards Heathrow, but I don't know if that's different from normal.
