Upper East Side Gas

Morning.

Anyone working from home on the upper east side & waiting for the gas men to finish?

    Ah, so that's what it is? I assume by upper east side, you mean Stapleton Hall / Quernmore Roads?

    I saw all four of the gas meter boxes at our flat open the night before last, just thought it was a routine inspection / meter reading. Only discovered this morning that the gas was off, and I'm actually waiting for a national grid technician right now. Sloppy that when I rang they didn't know themselves that there is work being done, but not surprising really.

    hole on junction of SHR and Oakfield has led to "water in the gas main".

    We were switched off at the meter Tuesday eve and not back on.

    Bah.
