Recommendations for builders/fitters for new kitchen?

edited September 2010 in Local discussion
Need a complete Kitchen refit. Was thinking of going with BenchMarx or possibly Howdens for the bulk of the bits, but am seeking a local, suitably qualified & reliable builder to rip it out and start again.

Any suggestions? Ideally, kitchens would be their thang, with experience of using one of these two suppliers. Am looking for a good job rather than lowest cost.

Andy on 07852 363836 did our kitchen which took about two weeks for a complete rip out, moving outside doors , putting in new windows, making do, fitting all the kitchen, new lighting, all electrics, plumbing etc levelled the floor laid engineering wood floor , finished off to a very high standard. He is very busy , lives in Crouch End and is doing quite a lot of work for people where I work. One of his jobs is to put in a new lighting system were it can be controlled remotely from anywhere by i- phone. He is a carpenter so he can do bespoke at a very good price. This was all done to an excellent standard about two years ago and everything is still okay. I am not related to him
