The Mayor of Stroud Green Road (in foursquare geek sense that is) should switch them on. Someone called Tom P apparently. Anyone know this man?

Or Misscara we can hoist you up on one of the council's thingies they use to repair the lamp posts and you can do each one individually to rapturous applause.

It's odd as I think of Hackney as quite sterile now. I was born there and used to live there when I returned to London aged 18 I lived in lower clapton for a while and it was crack central.

Really good news that SG is now on the map/tourist trail for this. Shows that new developments in food and entertainment like Seasons and Sugar lounge are getting the right vibe in the media.
