Park Tavern TV/film/advert shoot

A filmcrew were around the Park Tavern all afternoon and possibly longer. I saw them on the way down to FP tube at about 1pm and they were still there when I was on the way back at about 6pm. I didn't ask the crew as there were far too busy. Any idea what the shoot was for?

Ask the council - they have a until that gives out info I think.

Can't say it's a burning issue for me. Just wondering!

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but personally I have never been past a film shoot where there wasn't *someone* who could be bugged for details without it being too disruptive - police for a bigger shoot, mates and runners for smaller.

Looked like it was the doorway of the last house on Charteris Road being filmed when I went past about 9ish.
Fairly small/minimal shoot, but set up professionally.

Come Dine With Me or the like would be my guess.

When I walked past in the evening there was a kid being filmed walking up Charteris Road, so I imagine it was some type of fiction filming.

I asked what was being shot as I walked past, and was told it was a feature film called "Dreams of a Life" or similar. The woman I spoke to (who was only to eager to tell me all about it) said to look out for it in about a year.

I've seen filming up the top end of Charteris a few times, makes me wonder if the householder's on some location scout's radar for such things. I believe it can be a handy little earner if you don't mind the disruption.

She seems interesting. I saw her film 'The Alcohol Years' back in the 90s on TV. It's one of those films I'd forgotten about but I'm happy to have remembered again.
