I know. I guess being the only contributor to the earlier thread label's me a "bully" too. I thought it was funny at first and nearly re-posted but I wasn't quite sure what the difference was between taking a rise out of 'K' and (say) Medi, who people seem to take pleasure in taunting for shits and giggles.

Which reminds me, I haven't had a Venezia for a while. Maybe a Monday night treat. Their pizza is quite seriously THE BEST IN STROUD GREEN.

I've obviously missed something - I'm guessing a thread that stepped over the line and roused even the ever-tolerant Andy to take it down. The sad thing about Venezia is that Medi might well have been right about the quality of their pizzas - they are rather good. However, they are also very expensive, and the last time I went in to order one I was told I'd have to wait an hour. The woman was quite surprised when I said that was a bit long and I'd go elsewhere.

Yep, they have raised their prices for the 1/2 metre pizza quite significantly. I can't even work out how much they are now from their website. I'm sure you used to be able to get a 1/2metre for about £13? I might just have chips, beans and egg instead.

No idea what's going on here, but I am a fan of Venezia's pizzas.
Tried a Porchetta the other week and it was good, but wasn't worth the extra walk from this end of the road.

Does every thread here turn into a pizza discussion? I'm game for that. Maybe bring curry into it too?
