2 bed garden flat to rent; Ferme Park Road

edited January 2011 in Classifieds
All, We are putting our 2 double bedroom garden flat on the market for rent. It's on Ferme Park Road and is a Victorian raised ground floor conversion. We have lived there for 8 years extremely happily and we run the building as a management company with the other flats, with whom we have an excellent relationship. The rear garden is huge and is shared with the other 3 flats, although only 2 have direct access. It has been very well maintained over many years. There is a section allocated to our flat and there's a deck that I built for table and chairs etc. It is a very peaceful and quiet escape from the hurly burly of Stroud Green. Inside there are 2 good sized double bedrooms; one which leads directly onto the garden. The other has newly built fitted wardrobes and is carpeted (the rest of the flat has stripped & polished wooden floors). The kitchen is reasonable size, with wooden surfaces and lots of shelf space. There is a good combi boiler, serviced today! There is also a large hatch that leads through to the living room (handy when people are over and you are cooking, so you can still chat away). The living room has a large sash window bay and a working wood-burning stove that we recently installed. Also there are fitted shelves and 'floating' units (built by a local craftsman!) that are really cool and fit stereo/TV etc. neatly. There is plenty of space for a table and chairs, plus sofas etc. The bathroom has mosaic tiles and newly-fitted sink units. The hallway has a little storage area for coats and bags etc. There are lots of nice little bits of Victorian fixtures in the flat, such as the large tiled entrance hall (shared), ornate cornices, stained glass etc. It's in very good decorative order. It will be free from about 20th February. If you are interested or would like more details or photos, please let me know. Cheers, Nick
