I also love my back garden in the spring. Its full of purple crocuses right now and the buds are beginning to show. Its mostly a relief when the plants announce that they're not dead from my enthusiastic pruning in the late autumn.

I like that sign too. It leads to the entrance to the top floor of the World’s End, which the pub company sold off. Rumour has it that now that the pubco have planning permission to build an extra floor they regret that sell-off somewhat, as it hugely complicates construction.

I'm loving the new little flower bed on Victoria Road, between Osborne and Marquis Road.
