Pacific CC played their first match of the new season last Sunday at the newly saved Wray Crescent. It was a lovely day (apart from the dislocated finger suffered by a fielder). Our upcoming fixtures at Wray are on April 9th, 16th and May 7th and 14th

Start times are 12 or 1pm and matches should go on to about 6pm. We are always looking for players almost regardless of standard (one of our batsmen averages 4) - our newly revamped website is at http://www.pacificcc.co.uk - and cakes form a very important part of a cricketer's day out.

I've just been down to watch some of todays game. Seemed like Pacific were building a formidable total (It's a shame there wasn't a scoreboard). I'd never been there before and was pleasantly suprised, was a nice little ground.

We had an hour down there with our kid earlier. Very pleasant. They do have a scoreboard don't they? White thing on the floor by the pavilion.
