writing club?

Hi, I promised my nephew and myself I'd write him a book for his birthday in September.
I know that there's already a reading club, but I was wondering if people fancied meeting at all for a writing club?

Perhaps the 1st monday of the month at a local venue. I will wonder around and see if I can find one with right ambiance...

We'd help each other set goals and then check in at later dates.
