Just bought a Tesco disposable BBQ and realised they're going through the checkouts at 60p each, instead of £2.40 (e.g. 60p off). Stock up now before they clock the mistake!
A similar mistake with beer in a Welsh (iirc) branch made the BBC site's top ten stories. Can Stroud Green cement its media celebrity by doing likewise?
@Misscara. The point of Emma's post is that they were, mistakenly, going through the check out at 60p. And maybe they still are. 39p cheaper than the 99p shop.
I'm not sure saving 39p is worth going into Tesco for.
I went shopping in Tesco yesterday and remembered exactly why I normally avoid the place. Apart from the fact that it seems to have quite a poor selection of products for a shop of its size (and often poor stock control of the products they do stock), whoever designed that place clearly had an entirely unrealistic view of how quickly they could get people through the self-service checkouts.

Anyway I've just had a lovely bbq on the roof. Let the salmonella commence!
