We have a room to rent in our fantastic and friendly flat in SG.
Our lovely flatmate Laura is moving onto to the leafier climbs of West London and we’re looking for someone fab to replace her.
Our flat is a lovely maisonette on the top 2 floors of a terrace (on Evershot Rd)
We’ve lived in this flat for two years and love it because:
- it’s got a lovely big living room, with two huge windows making it really light and bright
- it has a nice big kitchen with loads of storage, a dishwasher and room for a dining table
- it has a bathroom, that’s not that impressive I guess, but it has bath and shower and you’d be pretty stuffed without it
- we have a really great landlord who lives next door and occasionally invites us round for the odd summer and Xmas drink
- we have great flatmates (ok that’s us, but we get on really well) Jacqui and Laura, we both work (fairly) hard but enjoy playing too, in particular if it involves Lucky Voice karaoke. Channel 4 news is also a must watch in our flat but otherwise we’re pretty easygoing (unless you’re a Tory, in which case you’re going to have to be really charming.)
So, the room.
It’s a small double, but a double, very light and bright. You also get storage out in the hall (wardrobe and two sets of drawers) and we have a loft for storage. But this flat is so much more than a room
So, what about you?
We’re looking for a flatmate not a lodger. We’re a sociable pair and want someone to complete our flat. We’re not in each others’ pockets and all have our own busy lives but we like to hang out together in the lounge and kitchen and catch up with each other, as well as go to the pub or have an occasional party.
We also both work hard though so we’re looking for someone professional, neat, tidy etc.
