I've just won a Mr Men box set from Egmont books, with all 47 titles. I'd feel a bit selfish keeping it, especially as I don't have kids. Can anyone recommend a local children's project or group to donate it to?
Sounds like a great Xmas present for my twin neices - help them readl and learn morals etc at same time. Worry theysy be a bit old fashioned though? I was given a Clangers game last year - supposed to be cool and retro - but I'd never heard of them. But my family fell about making woo woo woo noises. I just don't know these old shows like Hectors House, another 'hystericsl' favourite of my dads .

Mr Men are not all dated, they are simple and splendid.

Hector's House is odd. And French. Pipkins is the best - a mad, fantasticallly camp masterpiece but horrendously dated. I do a cracking impersonation of Hartley Hare which is wasted on anyone under 35.
