Doodle's very useful for checking people's availability, and it's free; if about six (or many more) dates are picked, then everyone can tick off which ones they can do. Their website is www.doodle.com (I've used them a few times for organising meetups).

I'd highly recommend that everyone does this. I have to do it every year with my volunteering organisation. People with kids should definitely do it as they will show you the various techniques for performing resuss for babies and older children. It's radically different to adults.

I am a ex paramedic, and anyone who does not do a first aid or life saving course is a fucking idiot. It would of made my job so much easier if people just had a tiny bit of knowledge, but no they run around like a headless chicken. So you should all do it I will take the course, as I don't know what has been changed since I left the LAS. It really is worth a few hours of your time.

I'm definitely up for this and would love to learn baby CPR too as I'm pregnant. Sundays or Tuesday evenings or Thursday evenings would be best for me. I can't do Mondays or Wednesday evenings. I've got a few weddings to go to on Saturdays in October but I could do the 1st or 2nd October, and any Sunday.
