This bores even me but I've got leaking pipes under a concrete floor -as well as in other places plus there's water damage halfway up a wall (and therefore more likely to be a leak rather than damp)

I've had a damp company in who are sure I need to locate the leak. My builder seems unsure that he can locate it. Does anyone know of a specialist company who can help with this?

It's an old conversion so the pipes are probably embedded directly into the concrete floor which is the main problem although being in a basement it appears the water is leaking all over the place.

my builder's genius suggestion was to sell up! i know he's probably right but I can't afford to move..

any good tradesmen would be much appreciated
