Are foxes bolder and hungrier? In the night my water lily leaf solar- powered fountain was dragged right out of the pond and a bite taken out of the plastic "leaf". To add insult to injury, the fox also left a calling card: a neat pile of dudu in the middle of my concrete path.

Have you tried putting a bucket of bleach suspended over a wooden baited trap? They don't like it and you can see the culprits in the morning with strange White fur and burnt feet. Problem solved (or i guess moved on ).There was a very effective one in Lorne Road in October.

@val, that's not a fox.  It's the Stroud Green uber-squirrel (eight feet tall, hungry and salivating) monstering you.   Keep the doors locked if I were you.

The smell of fox dudu should put anyone off eating Kentucky Fried chicken. My god it is strong!
