Beats, Cream and beyond
Come and join Pete Brown, one of the original Beat poets and lyricist for several of Cream's worldwide hits, at Stroud Green & Harringay Library (Quernmore Road) on Thursday, 7-8.30pm. Hear his tales of appearing at the Royal Albert Hall along with William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, writing with Jack Bruce and working as a musician, scriptwriter and producer. A chance to talk about pop culture and the music scene today. Free admission and refreshments!
