Parkland Walk: Bulb planting 5th Nov

edited October 2011 in Local discussion
**Received from Friends of Parkland Walk** Courtesy of Haringey council, we've been able to get our hands on 700 bulbs to brighten up the banks at the Muswell Hill end of Parkland Walk. Many of you will know that the access to the walk at Muswell Hill can be a bit grim at times. With your help we can hopefully say that next spring it will be a very different story. All we need now are some volunteers, adults and children, to help with the planting of 350 native daffodils and 350 bluebells. The Friends of Parkland Walk can supply some heavier tools (donated by Galliford Try) where the ground is obstinate, but if you can bring along a strong spade and a trowel that would complement what we have. Stout gloves are recommended. We will provide basic first aid cover. If you do plan on coming please drop an email to simonolley@mac.com who will be coordinating the event. <http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=276db2913bd2d2cdfee066205&id=d0edc023ef&e=575f2846f4>;
