Haringey budget consultation
A reminder that Haringey council are running a series of public consultations on where to make further budget cuts (another £40m over next two years). There are several meetings, but for most of us (I think) our local one is on Nov 28 at Stroud Green primary on Woodstock Rd from 7-9pm. <div><br></div><div>I will be going along to ask how many elderly/youth/children's services could have been saved had the pisspoor Haringey People magazine been cut instead (current cost: £250k a year once you take out the ad revenue). I think it's important to go. </div>
