Somehow a conversation Miss Annie and I were having has got onto the subject of the raciest nail polish colour old ladies wear.
So if you're a old lady tell me the colour of your nails, or if you're a mass murderer and collect feet as trophies you're the lunatic for me.
Miss A says 'Cherries in the Snow'. or possibly 'Fire and Ice'. I think that Cherries in the Snow sounds like the loss of virginity in a blizzard.

Most ladies - old or young! - are keeping their feet well under wraps at this time of year...but I did see a lovely purpley-blue on the fingernails of an old lady working in in a charity shop near Victoria this morning.
