Can I borrow your Kindle for half a hour?

     I need to take a few photos of the Kindle 4 (no keyboard), but if poss I would like to do it today or over the weekend.

     I make lovely Kindle covers, iPad covers etc from Vintage style fabrics and sell them from my Folksy e-commerce shop which requires nice photos. Detritus has a kindle with the keyboard and as I make covers for both sizes I'd like to take photos of the small Kindle in my covers.

    Not sure I want the other one, to be honest. I'm rather fond of my e-ink screen. It does have a backlit screen, right?

    @Stella - kindle 4 has the e-ink screen as well. Think you might be confusing it with the Kindle Touch?

    Didn't really check it since I am not planning on upgrading any time soon. It does the job just fine.

    Do you make them to order, or do you already have a bunch made? I'd love a space invaders kindle cover, but without the polka dots on the inside (too distracting for my tiny attention span). Is it possible to get one that is solid black on the inside?

    That is indeed miss annie's Folksy page! The covers are gorgeous, aren't they? I've got one, as has my mum and my dad is gettting mk 4 Kindle for his birthday, so that'll be another customer right there.

    @miss annie - have you got any of the handsome chap style ones for Kindle 4?

    What size @rainbow_carnage? I can make it up over the next few days. I do a discount for friends &family/SGers.

    I make all the different ones or different combinations of any of the fabrics for all different sizes and for iPads. The only one that is in short supply is the Foxy as I get it from a nice lady in San Francisco and she is changing the background colour.

    In a shameless bit of self-promotion and as you've been kind enough to express an interest in my wares, I'll be at the Dandy Lion market on Saturday - at The Boogaloo beside Highgate Station. I'll have some ready made stock covers and some one-offs.

    Thanks! I have one of the older Kindles with a keyboard.

    There's no rush. I've been stuffing it in my bag without a case for months.
