Changes in Finsbury Park

Haringey Council are conducting a consultation exercise on proposed changes to Finsbury Park.

Briefly what it proposed is that the track and gym, and the tennis courts should be transferred to the voluntary sector; floodlights installed in the tennis courts and a small pavilion built; lighting installed on the park carriageways; and the park opening hours extended to 10pm.
A questionnaire is available on the web site and all comments should be received by 6 July.
On Saturday 23 June there is an exhibition on the proposals in the track and gym - 11am 'till 3pm.
