    It's probably a silly question, but have you asked on Freecycle? I managed to get lots of boxes through there when I moved.

    @harpistic.  I have and I already got one lot off there.  They seem to be in great demand at the moment and I have missed out on a lot, so thought it might be worth a try on a more personal forum.  I am keeping a close eye on Freecycle too!

    Have you asked for them too? I missed several batches of boxes but then people contacted me offering me their own boxes. Wishing you lots of luck with your move!

    I wish I'd seen this earlier - I just took a car load of proper moving boxes to the tip because the remover I used was too crap to actually be able to pick them up

    @Roy and @vetski - thank you for your help.  I have actually moved now, so I don't know what I am doing back on the forum.  I am going to miss it!
