A little bit of local art
  • Hey y'all,

I'd recently completed a screenprint of a nighttime scene in the pre-rain days of Finsbury Park (do you remember?), which has been selling over at the Grapefruit Gallery in Fulham and The Only Place For Pictures over in Angel. Although perhaps not unique to N4, it might be something that resonates with your good selves, particularly those in the Tollington Park/Birnam Rd area ;)

We don't really have any art shops in FP, so I thought I'd post it on here

  • I might buy one. Where exactly is this?

  • Hmm... I wonder if anyone can guess? Here's a more detailed view.

... And if not I'll happily reveal :)
  • No idea where it is, but I love it! You're very talented and I'm jealous :(

  • Is it the back of Birnam Road looking east with that crane being on the site of the new Hornsey Road Tesco?

  • Yagamuffin not only nailing the place but also the time!
Yup the Tesco's crane which was there for a couple of months - that's some serious SGF knowledge!!

  • Not too difficult, you mentioned Tollington Park/Birnam Rd area and I used to live down that end of TP!

  • Vulgar I know, but how much does it cost?

  • No, it's fine.
    It's a limited run of 25 and they're for sale at £125.

  • These have a real Batman quality to them.

  • Batman! Thank you, I knew there was a familiar feel to them!

  • Do you mind if I post this on t'blog? www. thehornseyroad.blogspot.com

  • Not at all! Spreading the word would be greatly appreciated actually.
I'm working on a few more these next few days/weeks so might add more here when anything gets printed.

@andy that Batman shout is really spot on! I hadn't even thought of it myself, but I soaked those comics up when I was younger so it does make sense.

  • I just received my print copy - it looks even greater in real life! Thanks very much, Idev, I may become a regular in your shop!
