Book Group Thurs 11th October: Parade's End by Ford Madox Ford

Book group is back! We will attempt to read at least the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Some_Do_Not_…">first part</a> of the four part novel <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parades-Vintage-Classics-Ford-Madox/dp/0099577062/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1347278452&sr=1-2">Parade's End</a> by Ford Madox Ford.<br>It's been adapted for the BBC and is on telly and iPlayer at the moment so it might be interesting to watch/talk about that too...<br><br>Meet in the Old Dairy on Thursday 11th October at 7.30.<br><br>Everyone is welcome!<br>

Definitely going to try to come along to this. Benedict Cumberbatch is quite lovely in the adaptation.<br>

Just ordered book so hope to read it in time. Haven't been watching the TV adaptation.<div>By the way, just been reading a review of The Potter's Hand by A.N. Wilson which is a novel about Josiah Wedgwood. As a true girl from the Potteries it piqued my interest and I was particularly amused to read that he attempts some Staffordshire dialect such as "oop at works". Arnold Bennet watch out!</div><div>It's only just out in hardback so happy to wait for the paperback to come out, but this is my suggestion for a future book group. I don't come up with them very often so I just had to write it down before I forgot all about it. </div>
