Van Hire

I was wondering if anyone know if there is a local business around that hires vans because I need to collect a piece of acrylic sheeting from farringdon. It a length of a door and the width of two doors. <br>

zipcar do van hire also, and there's a van next to Finsbury Park station you can access through them.  We've been using their service for 5 years now, and it generally works pretty well.<br>

the thing about zipvan is once you've paid to join, and paid the insurance excess (see earlier thread with helpful suggestions about how to avoid this though!) as a one-off it really isn't cheap. I joined last summer and have only used it once, and it was expensive for what I got out of it. If you need regular van use it would probably be a better deal. <div><br></div><div>Lots of local van hires ... I've used Practical in Crouch End (Park Rd) a few times and have always found them good. </div>

True, if you only need it once it isn't that cost-effective.  If you're also renting cars though, then I guess it makes sense.<br>
