New "Organic Place" on Hornsey Road

On Hornsey Road, between the Chemist and the newly refurbished Turkish supermarket (used to be the old RSPCA shop and then an internet cafe').<div>I saw people working inside and  "Organic Stall" written on the blind.</div><div>Not sure if it's going to be a cafe' or a shop, but I am intrigued...</div>

<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">No shop seems to last on that stretch. The coffee shop closed down, as well as various kebab shops, internet cafe etc. I can't see an organic shop doing well there. Am surprised there is not a betting shop there!!</font>

The pet shop is still there, Hooray! But it still has a caged scarlet macaw, Boo! <div><br></div><div>The coffee shop was crap.</div><div><br></div><div>Tesco seems to be doing well...</div>

The macaw is blue and he's out pottering about the shop more often than he's in. I imagine Seasick Steve will always have the macaw, what else would he do with it? Release it into the wild to join the flocks of parakeets?

Wow, that flower shop must have lasted a couple of days. Noticed the organic shop today as the door was open and the owner was busy stocking up.<div><br></div><div>He's called Kay and he's already had a very negative response from the locals, he seemed a bit shaken when I spoken to him Apparently there's been some people asking him what he thinks he's doing here and that it's going to fail. What a horrible introduction to the area.</div><div><br></div><div>I assured him that there'd be a lot of people happy to have the choice of organic produce and wished him well. Please do the same if you pass  Seeing as he's offering something completely different to what's on offer there, I don't see who he could be offending.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope these negative people protested the Tesco's which is far more damaging to local business than anything else.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br>C</div><div><br></div><div>PS I've been in to the pet shop quite a few times and have never seen the bird in a cage.</div><div><br></div><div>PPS Love Ajani, please let's keep this place alive!</div>

Where is this place in relation to the Tesco?<div>Is it just fruit and veg or other healthy stuffs too? I may take a wander over at the weekend...</div>

It is nearly opposite Tesco's, near the pharmacist.

@yagamuffin don't think it's open yet, but worth a look even if it's just to try and cheer up the new owner. I think the place is going to be called "The Organic Stall".
