Thanks Andy. I didn't know there was a name for my crippling condition. It goes back to childhood but was reinforced in recent times when I lived on the Harrigay ladder backing on to the New River. During breeding season (or wet weather) my garden would be jumping with the creepy slimy little f******. URRRGGGHHHH

However my phobia hasn't quite got the level of destroying my health, career and family life as this article describes.
