Can't comment on the artist, but that venue is atrocious. They charge the earth for a meagre measure of lukewarm white wine in a grubby glass, the PA is a shambles, and the sound insulation between the two rooms is negligible so if you see someone quiet while the other room is being noisy, tough luck. The bouncers are heavy-handed, and the policy seems to be actively to encourage crowds of moneyed, wannabe-hipster twunts. I hope it's changed in the past couple of years, but passing by, I've seen no reason to believe that.
