New to the 'hood - need advice please!

We have just moved into the area and it has not taken us long to realise that we adore N4! But we would really appreciate some local advice on a few topics:<div><br></div><div>- We find that our <b>mobile phones</b> (we are with Vodafone and T Mobile) don't work particularly well. The folk at Carphone Warehouse assure us that 02 works best for coverage in Stroud Green. Can we get some opinions on the best network for N4 please?</div><div><br></div><div>- We have of course piled up lots of rubbish, cardboard boxes and the like as part of the move. Can someone let us know where we can take such stuff locally for <b>recycling</b>?</div><div><br></div><div>- Finally for now, also on the topic of mobiles, can anyone recommend a good <b>mobile repair shop</b> from the many and various to be found around Stroud Green and Finsbury Park?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!</div><div><br></div>

Welcome! If you are Islington side you can collect recycling bags from any of the many libraries and your recycling will be collected every week - usually on a Monday.

O2 are ok get very poor reception in the house, but that's not going to affect you. If it's empty moving boxes look on free cycle people always need them and will come to you to collect. As for phone repair take your pick I guess one is as good as another.

Welcome to N4. I'm with Virgin mobile and never had problems with the reception. I normally collect bottles, cans, plastic and paper/cardboard and discard it in the containers in front of Tesco. <br>

<P>I always lose my connection (both internet and on the phone) around the Sainsburys/Old Dairy at the top of Stroud Green Road.  Can't get 3G along SGR around Tollington Park either.</P> <P>Everywhere else is fine.</P>

Virgin Mobile and  T Mobile   and are run on Everything Everywhere's Network so should all get the same coverage
